HARLEY BRADBURN

CLASS OF 1952

 

 

After graduation Harley attended Morningside College to get a degree in accounting. He worked in Laurens for 10 years and in Orange City for 15 years. He also had his own business, Holiday Lighting doing decorations for towns. He moved to Webster City, doing accounting for a trucking firm and drove trucks occasionally when they were short. After his mother became ill he moved to Humboldt.

In 1956 he married Carol Jean Lehnus, they have 3 children: Steve who is a music teacher in Estherville, Natalie is a music teacher in Lincoln NE and Doug who is a plant manger in Webster City. They have 5 grandchildren. Carol now teaches a pre K class at St Mary’s in Humboldt.

Harley passed away on Dec. 3, 2001 after being diagnosed with colon cancer.
