Josephine Murray Henderson
Class of 1952
In 1970, I married Gaylord Henderson, who is a trucker. In 87 we bought a farm so he both farms and drives a truck. I worked at the telephone Co. in Pocahontas until it was automated.
In 1974 we adopted two children, Shannon, who was six and her brother, Robert, 5. Shannon (Frazer) now lives in Rolfe, has a daughter, Nicole 13 and a son Steven 3. Robert is unmarried and lives in Newton. I was a stay at home mom until after the kids graduated when I went to work at the Pocahontas Hospital cleaning.
In ‘95 I had a knee replaced so that ended my work career, although I still have a big garden every year.
I would have liked to come to the reunion to see every one and will look forward to seeing the book to see how every one is doing.
