BRENDA KAY WADSLEY

Humboldt - Brenda Kay Wadsley 41, of Humboldt, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2003, at the Humboldt Care Center South.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt, with the Rev. Ed Kail officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Humboldt.

Ms. Wadsley is survived by her mother Sharon Wadsley of Humboldt; father Ronald Wadsley of Sutherland; sister and brother-in-law, Christina and William Webster of Spencer; brother and sister-in-law, Bryon and Carol Wadsley of Humboldt; grandmother Fyrn Mueller of Sutherland; nieces, Caitlyn Wadsley and Stacy, Jamie and Kelly Webster; and nephews, Benjamin and Alex Wadsley. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Lilly Sump; aunt, Patricia Wholert; and uncle, Donald Wadsley.

Brenda Kay Wadsley was born January 19, 1962, at Clarion, Iowa, and made her home at Eagle Grove. In 1967, she moved with her family to Rolfe until 1970, when they moved to Storm Lake. Brenda worked as a baby-sitter while in high school in Storm Lake. She graduated in 1981, and was employed at Buena Vista Manor in Storm Lake for nine years. She moved with her mother to Cherokee in 1988, and was employed with the Cherokee Villa Care Center until 1997, when they moved to Humboldt. During her years in Humboldt, Brenda was employed caring for her niece and nephews until October of 2001.

Brenda especially enjoyed her nieces and nephews, country music, cross-stitching, riding her moped, the Minnesota Vikings, Iowa Hawkeyes, her dog Jack, and baking cookies.
